Why buy UAZ?
Henry Ford was famous for trying to make a car for the common man. One that the common man not only can work on, but afford. Over the years the US auto market has not only forgotten about its roots, but have mocked them. Vehicles are so over engineered that the average man has no ability to work on them without expensive specialty equipment or training. Current cars are made to replace not fix. Vehicles have became so expensive that the price of a new 4×4 can often encroach on the price of expensive name brand sports cars and luxury vehicles. Dealerships hold a monopoly over the car market, all the while up-charging the already overpriced, over-complex vehicles that domestic makes currently produce.
Why buy a Soviet / Russian 4×4? Eastern bloc vehicles are known for two things: being cheap, and being easy to work on. It is common knowledge through out the former Eastern bloc that vehicles such as the UAZ and Lada can be fixed with a screwdriver and a roll of duct tape. Ironically most of these vehicles are based off of American made makes. The UAZ is designed off of a Willys era Jeep and the GAZ was inspired from the classic Studebaker.
Why buy though UAZ America? UAZ America is ran from Tbilisi, Georgia. Due to being a Georgian company, we follow Georgian dealership laws, not American. This means that we don’t need an inventory, a lot, or a building. Due to the over regulation of physical auto dealerships it is almost impossible to start an online dealership in the US without a large amount of capital. Not wanting to get sucked into an outdated business model we offer all of our vehicles online with direct shipping to the customer’s door step. Say hello to the UAZ 452 commonly known as the Bukhanka in Russian (meaning loaf in Russian, creative right?). These vans are known for going through the most treacherous terrain known to man from -60° Siberia to the vast Gobi desert of Mongolia. Created by the Soviet government using the US Jeep as a base, the UAZ is a simple, practical vehicle commonly used for military transport and ambulances. Powered by a 4 cylinder engine, with amazing 4×4 abilities, these are vehicles that Americans have always dreamed of, but have never received until now!
We also offer the UAZ 469 now known as the Hunter. A very similar vehicle to the UAZ 452, but with a body similar to a Jeep Wrangler and not a van. This vehicle is perfect for the offroad junkie that doesn’t want to spend an arm and leg for a similar product already sold in the states.
The GAZ 69 is a military staple of the former Soviet Union. GAZ was the main 4×4 company used by the USSR during WW2 and mechanically strikingly similar to UAZ vehicles. Given the fact that GAZ was the foundation for the modern day UAZ, its makes perfect sense to sell these alongside their successors. Own a piece of military history and buy a GAZ-69 today!
The Lada Niva was created not for the government, but with the average citizen of the USSR in mind. Lightly based off of the Fiat, this vehicle was created to be a beefed up offroader capable of the worst and most difficult terrains that the harsh Russian landscape contains. This vehicle makes the perfect daily driver in harsh climates, has a proven track record, and is known world wide as a trend setter in its class. Unfortunately the Lada Niva has never been sold in the US market… until now. While they can be found in Canada (must be nice), at UAZ America we can almost completely undercut the market with our turn-key process and pricing, literally delivering a Niva direct to your doorstep!

Upon receiving the deposit our team will personally find and inspect the vehicle that is best fitted for your price range and standards. After full payment is received the vehicle is then shipped straight to you for your enjoyment!
Vehicles listed for sale are currently located in former Soviet countries, registered in Georgia (the country!) and then shipped straight to your door with all proper documentation in order to legally title the vehicle in the USA, you literally don’t even need to leave your couch!
Most of these vehicles are Soviet vehicles not Russian. Usage of UAZ, GAZ, and Niva vehicles were and still are widespread through out the former eastern block. Our goal is to make accessibility to parts as simple and easy as possible for every American at the click of a button.
