A few years ago I stumbled across a video of the legendary and outlandish UAZ 452 (Bukhanka). After roughly teaching myself basic Russian, grabbing a visa, and flying to Moscow during the middle of Covid, I successfully imported an UAZ into the USA. (More about that here) Fast Forward a few years later and what started as a hobby turned into a full pledged export operation. Due to the complexity of the current situation in Eastern Europe and strict US regulations, Tbilisi, Georgia was chosen as the ideal location to import these vehicles from. Serving as a “bridge” between the East and West we are able to legally export these unique vehicles within a more business and economically friendly country, while still being able to maintain a healthy amount of vehicles, parts, and knowledgeable local mechanics.

My goal is for every American to have access to the same amount of adventure and quirkiness that only can only be found within a Bukhanka. The mission of this company is to make UAZ ownership as seamless and simple as possible. Through out our connections in the former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, and Latin America we are the only company to streamline the process of the legal importation of UAZ vehicles, parts, and accessories to the American and Canadian market. Given the similarities and abundance of these vehicles in our local market, we have also decided to add other Soviet 4×4 products such as the Lada Niva and GAZ 69 as well.
